Abstract:

More than 22% of the world's agricultural land is saline, and this trend continues to increase with climate changes. Salinity stress causes leaf color change, osmotic stress, ionic toxicity, prevents growth, photosynthesis and plant performance. Due to their size less than micron, metal NANOPARTICLES have a great absorption and transmission power in plants. Salinity stress is a major problem in hot and dry areas under tomato cultivation. For this purpose, investigating the mutual effects of the size and type of zinc oxide and iron oxide NANOPARTICLES on the improvement and change of growth and increasing the resistance to salt stress in tomato plants of the early urbana variety were carried out in the form of a completely randomized and factorial design with 4 replications, at a significant level of 5%. In this research, zinc oxide NANOPARTICLES in 25 and 50 nm sizes, iron oxide in 25 nm sizes and sodium chloride in 0 and 75 mM levels were used. NANOPARTICLES and salinity treatments were both applied to the plants. The results showed that salt stress led to a decrease in plant growth parameters such as shoot and root length, leaf area, RWC, ion leakage. Also, NaCl led to an increase in the accumulation of prolin and other aldehydes, sodium, iron and zinc. The APPLICATION of NANOPARTICLES had a slight effect in stress-free conditions, but in stressed conditions, these two NANOPARTICLES alone and especially in combination neutralized the effect of salinity and reduced the damage caused by salinity stress.

Abstract:

Psoriasis is a skin disease with a T-cell-mediated nature. Interaction between skin immune cells and keratinocyte in the epidermis causes it. Psoriasis is characterized by thick, scaly, itchy and sometimes painful wounds that occur on the surface of the skin. At present, topical treatments, systemic medications, and phototherapy are the main methods to treat psoriasis. In general, oral administration of Methotrexate is one of the current therapeutic strategies for the treatment of psoriasis that has many side effects. Topical therapy due to low systemic toxicity and potential targeting ability recommended for patients with mild to moderate psoriasis. Barrier of skin, poor water solubility and low chemical stability of drugs are important barriers to the development of new effective psoriasis drugs. Nanotechnology has been effective in facilitating the passage of drugs to the topical treatment of skin diseases. Lipid and polymer based NANOPARTICLES (NPs) have highly affinity to skin barriers and are suitable for loading lipophilic drugs for psoriasis (Methotrexate-loaded lipid carrier provided drug accumulation (0. 88 μ g/cm2/h), higher than free drug (0. 59 μ g/cm2/h)) curcumin loaded (poly lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) NANOPARTICLES (NPs) could facilitate Cur's dispersion, sustained-release, accumulation, and penetration across the skin and into the blood circulation. Fluidized nanovesicles exhibited remarkable drug deposition amounting to a total of 81. 51% in the different skin layers. Conclusion: NANOPARTICLES can be useful for the treatment of psoriasis and other skin problems due to increased permeability, reduced drug destruction and minimized side effects of them which further research will be revealed their importance.

NANOPARTICLE-BASED DETECTION STRATEGY CAN PROVIDE AN EASY, CONVENIENT, AND RAPID SENSING METHOD FOR A WIDE RANGE OF BACTERIAL PATHOGENS. THE RAPID AND SENSITIVE DETECTION OF BACTERIA IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT IN THE FIELDS OF BIOTECHNOLOGY, MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS, AND FOOD SAFETY. IN RECENT YEARS, BIOSENSORS HAVE BEEN EXPLORED FOR THEIR APPLICATION IN THE DETECTION OF PATHOGENIC BACTERIA [1].GOLD NANOPARTICLES (AUNPS) ARE AMONG ONE OF THE MOST EXTENSIVELY STUDIED NANOMATERIALS.GOLD NANOPARTICLES HAS BEEN WIDELY USED TO IMPROVE THE DETECTION SENSITIVITY IN VARIOUS ANALYTICAL APPLICATION. GOLD NANOPARTICLES EXHIBIT MANY UNIQUE AND INTERESTING PHYSICAL AND OPTICAL PROPERTIES SUCH AS SURFACE PLASMON RESONANCE (SPR). THE SURFACE PLASMON RESONANCE OF GOLD NANOPARTICLES IS AN OPTICAL PROPERTY THAT HOLDS PROMISING POTENTIALS IN BIOSENSING, MOLECULAR IMAGING, AND PHOTOTHERMAL TREATMENT OF DISEASES [2]. THE COMBINATION OF SPECTROSCOPY DETECTION METHODS AND AUNPS PROVIDES A PROMISING PLATFORM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHLY SENSITIVE AND CONVENIENT BIOSENSORS. WE HEREIN PRESENT IN OUR STUDY OF USING UV–VIS ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY AND TRANSMISSION ELECTRON MICROSCOPY (TEM) TO DETERMINE THE INTERACTION BETWEEN AUNPS WITH BACTERIA. AUNPS WERE APPLIED TO DETECTION OF SOME PATHOGENIC AND NON-PATHOGENIC MICROORGANISMS. VARIOUS BACTERIAL GENUS SUCH AS STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS ATCC 25123, ESCHERICHIA COLI ATCC 25922, PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA ATCC 27853, SERRATIA MARCESCENS, SALMONELLA TYPHI, KLEBSIELLA PNEUMONIA, SHIGELLA, BACILLUS LICHENIFORMIS, PROTEUS VULGARIS, AND BACILLUS SUBTILIS WERE CULTURED AND THEIR INTERACTIONS WITH THE SYNTHESIZED AUNPS WERE EVALUATED.WHEN BACTERIAL SAMPLES WERE MIXED WITH DIFFERENT SYNTHESIZED AUNPS, THE COLOR OF AUNPS WERE CHANGED FROM RED TO VIOLET THAT CAN BE SEEN BY THE NAKED EYE. THE AGGREGATION PHENOMENA WERE INVESTIGATED BY UV–VIS SPECTROSCOPY AND. TEM. THIS METHOD HAS PROVED TO BE APPLICABLE FOR COLORIMETRIC SENSING OF SOME PATHOGEN BACTERIA.

Abstract:

Different types of contact, including contact between node pairs, any-contact of nodes, and contacts of the entire network, are used to characterize social relations in mobile social networks. Different modes of routing, from the point of view of message delivery semantics, encompass unicasting, multicasting, any-casting, and broadcasting. Studies have shown that using probability distribution functions of contact data, which is mainly assumed to be homogeneous for nodes, improves the performance of these networks. However, there exists an important challenge in studies on distributions. A lot of works apply the distribution of one type of contact to other types. Hence in routing APPLICATIONs, it causes to use of the distribution of one type of contact for any mode of routing. This study provides a complete solution to model each type of homogeneous contact data distribution and to use them in different modes of routing. We propose a routing algorithm that uses this new model. Results show that our solution improves the average latency of comparing methods Epidemic, TCCB, and DR about 3.5-times, 30%, and 45%, respectively. It achieves a delivery rate of about 5% and 6%, and average latency about 6% and 8% better than that of DR and TCCB, respectively.

Abstract:

The desert areas of the playas are important due to the diversity of geomorphological landforms and the great potential for geo-tourism development. These areas can be provided using statistical and quantitative models to determine the areas with a higher geomorphological diversity value to land planners for the sustainable development. This research was conducted to evaluate the geomorphodiversity in Mesileh playas in Namak Lake and Hoz-e- Sultan region. The geomorphological landforms in this area were extracted using satellite images and field studies, Fragstats software and the eight quantitative indicators of the landscape metrics include Patch Richness Density, Relative Patch Richness, Simpsons Evenness Index, Index Shannon Evenness, Shannons Diversity Index, Simpson's Diversity Index, Modified Simpson's Diversity Index, Modified Sahanon Evenness Index were exerted to evaluate the richness of geomorphological units in Masileh playas. The results indicate that the geomorphological units of alluvial fans, salt flats, salt mud flats and dunes, respectively, have the highest value among the landscape metrics. In addition, from the point of view of the landscape metrics, the northwest regions of Kashan and Abuzeydabad have the most incredible variety of geomorphology. This research showed that geomorphological units could be used as a suitable indicator in evaluating the diversity of the landscape, especially in flat areas with morphometric and geological diversity.
